TREKKING AND ADVENTURE SPORTS IN BENGAL
The Eastern Himalayan region is one of the most spectacular places for trekking and adventure sports activities in India. The charm of the Himalayas along with its mysteries gradually unfold as trekkers traverse through the dense forests and verdant landscape, through miles of green carpeted meadows and sleepy hamlets lost in time.
There are some short treks from Darjeeling and but the most well known treks in this region are the Sandakphu Trek, The Sandakphu-Phalut Trek and The Sandakphu-Srikhola Trek. Other adventure activities in this region are rock-climbing,rafting in the teesta, camping etc.
